I received a call from this number. They left a voicemail that ask for Karen and no one by that name lives in my household and I have had this cell # since 2001. The message said Karen had placed an order and they needed payment before it could be shipped. When I ask the name of the company all I could understand due to the language barrier was it was something to do with drugs/medicine. You could hear many, many people in the background talking like the biggest phone room one can imagine. As I questioned them and they refused to answer me unless I gave them my name and phone number again. I told them I was reporting them to the FBI and they became instantly flustered. I hung up.
Got two calls on my cell phone from this number today. Did not pick up, they did not leave a message. I'm not surprised to learn that it's a call center, I get many of these calls. I've even gotten calls from a guy claiming to be with the DEA and threatening to arrest me....how do we stop these crazies??
Got a text a while ago from this number about how she "elizabeth jayson" wanted me to babysit her kid for 15$ an hour. I gladly excepted because it would be a short term job and nice pay for me just being out of high school needing some cash to pay for my car insurance and gas. But later I looked up the number she was using last and it came up with a whole bunch of scam notices of experiences like mine. The lady sent me a check in the mail, a fraud check actually. I didn't put the check in my bank account because the check looked weird with many different names all over what is was sent from and on the check itself. My dad had me take it to the police but they just told me to call a person to talk to it about to maybe get the person. Then today I get a text message saying to watch my back for the FBI for taking advantage of her. I hope other people catch this problem before it's possibly to late, because if you do submit the fake check it will close your bank and you will have to pay interest, I'm glad I surpassed that.
Just received a call on my cell phone from this number. They left a voice mail to call back, they are from the IRS regarding a lawsuit they are filing. I hope other people don't fall for this BULL**IT
SCAM!!! Was looking for an apartment on Craigslist. Found one and called the #. Wanted payment of $3000 site unseen! Excuse was it was occupied for 2 more weeks. Total SCAM ARTIST! Also, he said his name was Mathew Clickman.
