Caller left a voice message saying he was from the Treasury and I would be prosecuted if I ignored the call. Sounded like a scam so I called back since I am retired and had time to kill on a rainy afternoon. The accented guy who answered said "US Treasury". I asked him if he was a thief or just an idiot working for a thief? He called me a MF - not sure who hung up first.
Threatening message by "IRS....magistrate judge.....criminal federal offense....yada yada"..., obviously a recording, ridiculously stupid by stupid people. Blocked and will be reported.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Well Mr David Gray, you must be really stupid. Thanks for calling again to threaten me with jail. I'm really sad that you wouldn't meet me in person so I could pay you in cash. Too bad and then you couldn't even cuss me out properly.
Can't wait for you to call again..... Come on I dare you
