Just got one of these calls myself, and like all of you, 937 # - saying a i have pending legal action against me - and hung up on me when i asked for more information - Then they called my brother. Clearly this is a scam. I've never had a payday loan in my life.
received a call from 937-424-3874 was advised that I have 24 hours to return a call and I have 2 complains against me and that we can settle it outside court, and to consider this my legal warning and good luck. Who the hell says that I called local police station and officer advised me that if you have any complains against you will have to sign for it before going to court they cannot day anything over the phone. so be careful
Called me and called my sister and brother trying to get info about me. Said I owed money and was in arburtration and wanted me to verify my last 4 digits of my Soc. Sec. number I told them i would not verify that and they hung up on me. Called police department who then called them in my presence and they hung up on them. I filed a report.
Does anyone know who these people are? They drive me crazy with their harassing phone calls. They leave messages saying that I have a case against me and to call them back but they never leave the name of their company or what the case is about. I have had my fair share of these companies trying to scare you in to paying them money but my niece is a lawyer and she said that legally they have to send you in writing who you owe, amount you owe and when you got what they say you owe. These people never do that, they just call and harass you on the phone. I have blocked so many numbers but some how they change their number and get thru again and this one called my work number which I'm not happy about. Any help on this number would be appreciated.
I received a call from this number, from a Willis Harding. Gave me a case number and stated I or my attorney need to call them back ASAP before this goes to court. Its a brockton # that shows up on caller id but they left a number of 937-424-3874. Keep calling my work.
