Called, is David there? no my son's at work, I'll take a message, "this is a personal matter" who's calling him, "It's a personal matter we'll just call back" They didn't leave a name but I'm glad to know it was GE Money Bank, I already had the Interceptor ID so I won't hear them call again...
Dont bother trying to block the call they use about a dozen numbers. I bought a ring for my fiance at a jewelers and it was financed through GE Money. My due amount never goes down, i am about twice the price for the ring at thiis point.
I was stupid in using this "Finance Company" to pay for my dentist bill.DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! REPEAT!!
I have been paying for one entire year. This month I was late 3 days and they started calling me even on Sunday at 8:00 AM. Today they CALLED ME AT WORK!!! I TOLD THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE A "MICHELLE DAVIS" NOT TO EVER BOTHER ME AT WORK. This is the first time I am late. The interest rates are horrendous the late fees 39.99 for one day.
I keep getting calls from this number also. I didn't know that it was GE they never leave a message. I just thought I would google it to see if it came up any where. They have been calling my home and cell number. Now I know who they are, but I don't know why there are calling me.
They'll automatically call you daily if you're late. Simply pay up to date and the calls stop. If they tell you there's a $15 payment fee, tell them you'll just send a check. They'll usually reduce the amount (it can be waived) if you just tell them you're not going to make a payment and get charged that amount.
They can legally call you at any number you have if you're behind. If go through their verification and they know they're talking to you, inform them that you cannot receive calls at whatever number they called you. They must remove any number from any automatic system at that point.
IF THEY DON'T - simply write a letter stating you wish to cease and desist all communication with the company.
Just make sure you keep making payments if you do that. Otherwise you'll be collected on.
