My check was the same, $2480. This is a scam... look at the check, no watermarks. They will have you money gram them before you know the check is a phony. Nobody sends you that kind of money out of the blue!!
I had a feeling it was a scam. 450 wkly to be someone's assistant, I havent gotten as far as you guys... I decided to google his phone number. Funnny, different names but he uses the same number every time. He is now going threw craigslist. Jerk! Plus he didnt really even know which name he was going by when I called him, plus I aplied for a medical receptionist job, no assistant for some guy in Austraila. Why hasnt any action been made against this guy? And why do scamers have to infect the job pool.
From the number : 937 916 5840 . Yeah, he's also using the name Alan Bradshaw, has a sickeningly-stupid foreign accent, he can't hear for shyt and keeps repeating himself. The same thing happened, he sent a bogus traveller's cheque for 2480.00 . I went to the bank and said I thought I had a worthless piece of paper , but I had my bank do some research and after a few calls, the woman came back and told me that the routing number wasn't even real . Just like I thought . When "Alan" called me to ask if I had deposited the cheque, I told him it was a scam and he hung up in my face and did not send me anymore emails. He's also incredibly rude, he called at five in the morning and also at two in the morning .
He tried me too but I new 450wkly salary was fake I've worked to long to know ain't nobody that dumb to pay his emails was from a Jeremy paddy@gmail and voice mail was from a Alan. He wasn't rude to me at all I called him everything in the sun. They should put him on the news
