My check was the same, $2480. This is a scam... look at the check, no watermarks. They will have you money gram them before you know the check is a phony. Nobody sends you that kind of money out of the blue!!
I just got this message last week and got the the check today of course I have to research first and it shows its a scam. Kind of sad how he makes people thrill with his own practical joke. I hope this person will get caught. what he was doing is not right.
I received a letter in the mail after posting on Craigslist about a painting job. I had gotten a couple of [***] emails that seemed "scamish" so I didn't waste any time. But after getting this letter I just had to contact this idiot. The letter was the same as "Big Al's". Alan Bradshaw and the number was 8148175670. He sounded indian or something and was quite rude. He's called and woke me up the past two or three mornings. He claims my "check" is in the mail. I had my mother with the Sheirffs office trace it and it tracedto a land line in PA. Mkay. Do believe ill be giving him a piece of my mind tomorrow. So glad these posts were here!
