Unfortunately, I answered the phone...Venice is close to Sarasota, FL and 80 miles from Tampa,FL so they CHOOSE to use different phone numbers. "ENERGY AUDIT". And while talking, Rep was shoving potato chips down her throat ! Best to do is buy a phone that you can BLOCK calls with. PANASONIC has a phone that will BLOCK 250 calls. When that gets filled up, you can delete ALL or certain ones that you want to be removed. If they call back, my phone screen will say...CALL BLOCKED". And every time they call back from the same phone #, it will say "CALL BLOCKED". If they use a different phone #, you can block that also...Instructions are really easy to follow. More horse turds to block. My new trick...when a scammer calls from an unknown number, I immediately unplug the phone line going into the back of my phone...simple. Then while the phone is disconnected, I block the number, then plug the phone line back in. I absolutely hate these scammers AND will never ever ever answer their calls.
