Yes, & it's the same phone companies, & cable providers selling them the VOIP technology that are charging you for the Caller I.D. service...should be illegal...taking money for selling a service that's used for illegal purposes, & then taking even more from those needing protection from that service...hmmm.
Received recorded message from Home Protection company or something with the offer to install free monitor in my front yard -- no cost for hardware, no monthly fees. Suggested to push "1", if interested. Nice gentleman, "Jason", came on line. When I asked him that I would like to know the company name and address, he hang up. Probably prying on senior citizens to rob them. Why there is no death penalty for that activity?
