same call lower your interest rates to 6%, when i said a wanted them to stop calling they hung up. 971-220-1771 i wish someone would do something about this.
I got the same call as described by rb 13 Sep 2011, I pushed 1 to speak with a representative, I told the guy that I was on the do not call list and he said this was not a solicitation, and that he represented a card company that I had an account with, when I asked which company he hung up.
If you are on the do not call list file a complaint it is quick and easy:
This showed up on my caller id as "phone". It was a recorded call from "cardmember services" saying that I could lower my interest rate if I owed at least $3000 dollars. I have no desire to take advantage of this, but pressed "1" to be connected to a "friendly customer service agent" anyway. When asked to be put on their "do not call list", they promptly hung up on me.
I got 2 calls from this number. One on 10/29 at 12:04 p.m. and the second at 2:09 p.m. on today (11/9). I do not answer these "Unknown Name" or just "Number" listed with no name. They use a number for a while and then change to another number. Very frustrating. Wish they would get a real job!
