Got a call from 971-220-1938 a\at 7:15 this evening. They claimed to be the FBI. It was an autoattendant recording about installing a security system, "to hear more press 1 now, to end the call press 9". Sounds like a scam.
I have been on the Do Not Call list for a long time. I even logged in and updated my numbers on the list again about 4 months ago. I still got a call offering a security system from this number in Gresham OR. Some telemarketers pay absolutely NO ATTENTION to the Do Not Call list.
I have been receiving phone calls for a few months now. Each time a different number, and a different state. I never answer them. Today I got a call first from Beaverton , OR 971-217-9515. Then later I received a call from Gresham, OR, 971-220-1938. I too am on the do not call list. So that tells me that it is only a scammer trying to get a credit card that doesn't exist. I have not credit cards you fools. As a new number shows up I block it. Let's see so far I have gotten calls from around 10 different states.
