They picked the wrong one to mess with because I report.
I can tell you that the FCC does contact them and does put them through all kinds of paperwork and an investigation. The fine is $10K.
Just write down every time they call- time and date. Once you get three, that's good enough to report. You don't even have to talk to them. The fact that they are calling you when you are on the registry is enough.
REPORT THEM! It's easy to do.
I had another one of these jerks tell me that there isn't any such thing as the do not call registry anymore. I guess he's in for a surprise.
I have been getting at least 3 calls per day from these freakin jack [***]! Ideas on how to make it stop? When I call the number back, it says that number has been disconnected!
The Gov donotcall.gov does nothing. I have reported over 200 calls and have never heard from them on any. I even dare them to call me and tell me that they read the complaint and they don't. Don't expect any help from them.
they have called 5 times since 01-25-12; it is a recorded message about lowering your electric bill! i reported them 2day soooo we'll see what happens! according to bud, nothing will happen but more calls :(
