received two calls first one disconnected the second one someone answered saying they were from the health dept. and started in on asking about diabetic information for someone in our home. When I asked and insisted on talking with a supervisor and not speaking with him any further he said hold please and I was disconnected. I called the number back on my cell phone and a recorded response was "if you would like to be removed from our call list and not receive any further promotion call press 1"
I tried calling back again to talk with a supervisor and could not get through beyond the recording.
caller id says: diabetes. Caller identified self as from the American Medical services/supply (something like that). Wanted to know if there was a diabetic in the house. When asked to remove us from her call list, she refused. I insisted. She refused and hung up. Second call, next morning: no one there. Third call, an hour or two later: I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said she was the supervisor. I asked to be removed from her call list; she said it was computer controlled and that she could not unless I answered the questions and said a password. She said she was unable to remove me from the list and that the computer would continue to call unless I complied. I told her I am not diabetic, but when she gave me a non-English password, I refused to say it. Fourth call: she tried to give me another non-English password to say. I hung up. Fifth call: I let the answering machine get it
Caller ID says Diabetes. They hung up after I said hello yesterday, and they hung up just after the phone was picked up today. Called the number back and got a rapid busy signal. We're on the DNC list, and I assume they're trying to circumvent that.
This number has called me several times. I ask her who she was and she said, i'm your old girlfriend. I hung up but should have told her I don't have any black old girlfriends. Got another one today, I just don't answer anymore.
