received two calls first one disconnected the second one someone answered saying they were from the health dept. and started in on asking about diabetic information for someone in our home. When I asked and insisted on talking with a supervisor and not speaking with him any further he said hold please and I was disconnected. I called the number back on my cell phone and a recorded response was "if you would like to be removed from our call list and not receive any further promotion call press 1"
I tried calling back again to talk with a supervisor and could not get through beyond the recording.
My complaint the same. I'm on the Do Not Call list and never answer a call if I don't know who it is.
I have got calls from here and all that's on the ID screen is Diabetes and no one in my house has diabetes.
What is the point of Do Not Call unless the offenders are fined heavily so they will think twice before making anymore telemarketing calls. As it is now no one is punished and they have nothing to lose.
My complaint is much like all the others. My caller ID said "blocked" and then the number. I didn't answer and they left no message. My phone will block numbers that I specify, so I put them on the blocked list. They can call, but they won't get through. I am also on the "do not call registry" and I actually think these type calls have gotten worse since I signed up.
