Have gotten calls like this several times with this being the first one from this number... 971-220-1980. The ID box had REWARD SOLUTION and they left the message about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. I'm no dummy!!! I don't answer calls from people I don't know personally. This is nothing but a BIG FAT SCAM!
Caller ID shows "Reward Solution". Recorded message says to press 1 to be connected to an agent who can get your credit card interest lowered... I pressed 3 which is supposed to remove you from their call list... We'll see if that works...

FACT 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list – you’ll get laughed at!
FACT 5 - no "class action" law suits are being filed and certainly, none are being LITIGATED.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset. Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset. COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.
They work beautifully! These phones also block
“PRIVATE,” “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
Received call from Number (971 220 1980 (reward soultions) Message said to press 1 now to receive information on lowering your interest rate. I pressed 1 to speak to someone ( to ask to be removed from their call list but they did not know that...... ) a woman answered and before she even knew what I wanted.. (all I got out of my mouth was "I pressed 1 because") she VERY RUDELY said "you should have pressed 3 you are wasting my time, this is a job !" and she hung up. I thought "what a [***] !" she didnt know that I wasnt calling to have my rates lowered.... I bet they dont get much business through that employee.
