If you're willing to take the time to explore your phone's settings, many phones have a built-in blacklist feature. Mine (a Samsung) doesn't ring when they call or leave a message.
Starts out with automated message offering to lower your interest rates or payment on your credit card debt...push 1 to get connected to a person...if you ask for company name they say "Account Services"...they'll try to get your credit card account number (seem to want Visa, MasterCard and not American Express)...if you tell you don't want to give it then they go hard sell mode and explain about the consumer protection act that protects you from unauthorized charges on the credit card...if you eventually get to tell them that you're on the do-not-call list then they'll hang up...

1. Hang up right away
2. Keep them on the line as long as possible...maybe you need to go get your credit card...it's in another room...lol

Got a call from this number today; did not answer it. Checked out various apps for my iPhone; it's pretty clear if you look at some of the reviews that they're written by likely "insiders" who all use the same poor grammar and often the same, or similar, IDs, and who list the same vague hype-ish terms and reasons for it being the best thing out there. So beware. I'm surprised that there aren't more quality options for call blocking!
By the way, there was no message left by these slimeballs. And also, when I get calls like these, which is a few times a year -- even though I'm signed up for the national Do Not Call registry -- I immediately create them as a new "Contact" for me, but with "Scam" in the title, so that that's what I see if they call again. At least I immediately know not to answer it....
i received a call from this number on my cell. they said they wanted to lower the interest rate on my credit card but did not know which cards i had. they were rude and unprofessional.
