This same company has been calling our home every week for months. I've spoken to two different callers pretending to be interested in their scam but they say I'm not qualified or they want my credit card numbers and social. Now when I hit one to speak to anyone they always slam the phone down on me. I don't understand why they are permitted to harasse me and use false caller ID's. A few times they even used my daughters number as their caller ID. We were home and her's is the second line into our home. It said she was calling and she was sitting right across from me. It was this scam and told me there must be a problem with our phone service but it happened a few more times with them using fake ID's. What can I do to stop this?
I received a call from (971) 373-2982 2:30PM 8/9/2012. The one thing I have started using in Ooma phone service. It may die tomorrow and I may have to return to ATT but so far it has a community blacklist and a personal blacklist. I still get a call every now and then but I add them to my list and no more.
