Got a call from "Financial Ctr'. I picked up the receiver and hung it right back up. My mother gets the same call almost every day. They've been telling her for over a year that "this will be the last call".
They called me too. I was in the mood for a fight, so I answered. It was a recorded message about being my final chance to lower my interest rates...blah blah blah. I hung up. Then I reported the number to the Do Not Call registry. I thought recorded messages were a no-no. But what the hell do I know? It takes no time at all to report it to them...and if it helps...good.
I just got a call from this number at 4:45 pm today on my landline. Caller Id said "Financial Ctr". I let my machine pick it up because EVERY call I've ever gotten from this area code has been a telemarketer. They hung up once my machine's recording came on. I'll be reporting to the FCC and FTC.
