MY HUSBAND RECEIVED A CALL STATING SOMETHING ABOUT FRAUD. IT WAS A WOMAN AND SHE EVEN GAVE HIM A CASE NUMBER. I GOOGLED THE NUMBER AND SAW ALL THESE OTHER COMPLAINTS. WHEN YOU ARE IN DOUBT...GOOGLE.
Got a call intended an individual whom I don't know threatening to take legal action on medical charges. Very poor quality recorded message with a case number. Called back to tell them they were calling the wrong number. Nothing, but a message that the party I was trying to reach was unavailable, and the mailbox was full. Another scumbag collection agency with outdated, incorrect contact information. Too lazy to do their homework.
Just received a message saying that I have two fraudalant charges attached to my name and social security number. They gave a case number and a number to call back. When I did call there was no answer and the voicemail was full. They also used my maiden name. I was scared at first and very confused. Glad to know that it's just a scam!!

This 201-205-1083 has been calling everyday for a week. The first two callers had a woman's voice, with a recording of my name and case number, the 3rd day is was a very official sounding man...he called 2 days in a roll, and today, it was a woman, saying they needed to verify my address to send the summons, as I have failed to "comply". But, again, they say my name in a recorded message and the case number is a recorded message. No way am I calling something so stupid. If someone was sending me a summons, they wouldn't call and warn me! So what is the point in this scam. I see from other post, that no one answers, so how does the scam work! All I know is that I'm not calling it.
