MY HUSBAND RECEIVED A CALL STATING SOMETHING ABOUT FRAUD. IT WAS A WOMAN AND SHE EVEN GAVE HIM A CASE NUMBER. I GOOGLED THE NUMBER AND SAW ALL THESE OTHER COMPLAINTS. WHEN YOU ARE IN DOUBT...GOOGLE.

Never never give out financial information or card numbers out over the phone. Don't let cold callers frighten you into giving them money! Go to bank, reverse charges and get a new card. QUicktime!!!!!
If they have already put through a transaction, see if you can get the bank to find out who did the initial processing. It would be helpful to find out who, exactly , these people are.
Never, ever give your credit/debit card number to someone over the phone! Even if you think that the payment will solve everything. If you are getting calls letting you know you are going to be summoned at your place of employment or home, don't follow through with payment. If you were to get a summons from anyplace; you would get it through the mail. Not phone calls or emails. Call your bank and cancel your card and they wilk send you a new card
