Around 6 wks ago I misspelled youtube.com. I was directed to a website that looked like a youtube web page. It stated that I was the 100,000th visitor and I have the option of completing a survey to win a prize. I completed the surgery and gave my email address, phone no and address. Since than I've been getting multiple phone calls from different companies. Most of them sound foreign with european-middle eastern-indian accents. Somehow this company has gotten a hold of your no and is now making multiple calls throughout the day.
I guess this number has been reassigned because I got a call today from RCI for a vacation package. They said they got my name from Hilton Hotels since I am a Hilton HHonors member. A**hole Hilton HHonors. If I had known they would share my info with such scum, I would have never signed up... As the rep was listing all the places I can go for $398, I looked up RCI and saw some really terrible reviews: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/travel/rci.html I opted out of their call list. Let's see if they honor it.
We keep getting calls from this # but don't answer calls from people and #s we don't know. I wonder if the calls have anything to do with the gov. computer hack.
