Just received a call from this number--1-201-215-5985. the woman asked to speak with the owner. I stated sure and provided this phone number-1-514-673-0390 (which is another telemarketer) and told them to ask for Boss. the woman did not "get it" and I repeated it then hung up.
I received a call from this number today, when I answered "he stated that he worked for google and that he needed to speak to the owner of the google account, since there seems to be an issue with it." I told him the owner wasnt around but I can be his master if he wants a little discipline, he proceeded with a nervous tone that he just wanted to speak to the owner and thats when I proceeded to tell him that I was really hot right now... then he hung up. Missed opportunity, I guess.
This is most likely a scam as they use Verizon as the company name and claim they are a Google AdWords partner
They are not and if you use them GOD help you because you will be bared in search with their tactiks.
They are NOT from NJ - most likely from India as they pass the call to a supervisor when you want info of what exactly they will do
They want 800 a month and I spend less that 100 using PPC at google using Adwords.
They just told me that I do not know what I am doing.
I am # 1 or #2 using my keywords which are quite generic.
I use and check my google account (AdWords) every day.
Yes I do pay google for PPC and pleased to do so.
It is worth 10 X my cost as I get new customers every month.
Clients that are about 750 per year and have been with me since 2009 since I used Google Adwords
Worth every penny
DO NOT BE FOOLED by these people who claim you do not know what you are doing and they are experts.
They are kings of the scam
