Who called from 2012542896

FaceTime. I didn't answer.

unknown caller... 201-254-2896

when calling the number back a recording starts after 2-3 rings. This is not an "Official" telecom recording... it's quite possible what people are hearing is a message recorded on an old voicemail recorder with the option to leave a message disabled.

It's more or less a sandbox to capture users numbers when they call for future use.

OR

A proxy phone number when someone wants to hide their real phone number.

Called twice to cell phone.  Rang 4 times each time.  No message

Rang once and they hung up. Called back and it was disconnected.

Called, no message, likely gutless.
