I received a call from this number today and the lady gave me the last four digits of my card number. She told me that they wanted to send me a $50 gas card and a discount card to read over but they would charge my card for shipping and handling only. Her phone kept going in and out like a cell phone and then when I said never mind because I wasn't paying anything the phone mysteriously hung up. I called my credit card number and they said they didn't know anything about it, but then tried to sell me some fraud protection coverage.
have gotten 3 phone calls from this number on Sunday, July 27,2008. i do not answer numbers i do not know. looked the number up online and found all of the reports. thought i would report it too.
I am so tired of these calls! I have been getting them for weeks every single day all day long. I'm busy painting upstairs and when the phone rings I rush down to check the caller ID and 9 times out of 10 it is the same number and of course they don't leave a message. I guess it is time to
answer the call so maybe they will quit calling. Also, I think I will take ticpetmommy's advice and file a complaint. I hope all of you file a complaint too; it can't hurt and it just might help!!
I kept getting these calls as well, I called my bank, and they recommended that I cancel card and they sent me a new one. The fraud department at my bank suggested that the only purchases that I have made that could possibly be compromised is purchasing DVD's at a redbox. Are any of you that are getting these calls getting movies at redbox???
