This number is part of "Grant Instructor" which are people who inform you of government grants and financial stuff for college. They will ask you to pay a small amount (like under $2) for shipping this "free" financial help to you. Whatever you do, DECLINE because this number is SCAMMING you into a superfine print of $49+ per month membership fee. (if you google them, tons of complaints about them will pop up)
I answered this number once and they strongly urged (more like harassed) me to pay them then. I said no which made them frustrated and hung up so I thought I was done with them. Since then, they've been calling me mad crazy like every hour or so. I put my phone on silent so it doesn't bother me with their every-hour calling. (That's what you get you persistent FOOLS!! Give up while you can because I'll never answer you, MUHAHAHA!!)
I think that they're calling tons of number now because its back-to-school season and they hope to reel in some money. Well, hope this helps anyone.
just got a call - my kid answered, they asked him if it was "my name" he said no she's over here I'll get her... no one there when i took the phone. frustrating! tried to look it up online reverse phone # look up and can't get info on it without paying. :(
They have called me every hours since 10:30am. I accepted the call on my cell phone and put it on speaker phone, they hung up. Accepted their call again and some over seas telemarketer asks for my name and I hung up on them. They have called one other time and I dont know what they are trying to get me to sign up on or have me give them money for but I got better things to send my time and money on.
I was called every 10-20 minutes for days -- the last call tonight at 8:50 p.m. (August 21, 2009) I answered by saying very loud, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT? I am disabled -- I find these calls more than annoying. I just remembered -- I have a whistle -- that's what they will get the next time I get a call.
