Unknown person called my Mom saying that she had to pay the service call for the Charter Technician that came to her house to get her cable working again which is not true.
I have been getting calls from this number for a long time now and do not know what to do to keep it from happening. It has become almost a daily thing except on the weekends. I guess crime does take a break.
I just got a call from this number, they didn't leave a message. I recently instituted call blocking on my home phone and added this number to it. I can't block 800 numbers, and some cell numbers. On my cell phone, I can add the number to my spam list and block the number. It's a start but we get so many spam calls, at least one or 2 a day!
