I just got a call from this with an automated voice saying "Hi, we just rented your timeshare for $3600/week, are you using it or would you like to confirm the reservation?" When I said "I don't own a timeshare," the automated voice came back and said "ooooh, I'm sorry. We will remove your number from our call list." That is the strangest one I've ever gotten, I think.
Lol! I used to get mail and phone calls asking me if I was interested in selling my time share. I'd tell them, I've never owned a timeshare, but if you want to sell it and send me the money, go right ahead!!
Called to tell me that my debit card has been suspended and I need to press 1 to reactivate it. Well, since I do not have a debit card I figured out pretty quickly that this was a scam. These comments confirm it.
Just received a phone call from 201-283-9610. My debit card had been suspended. I called back on a land line. Instructed to press 1 for.... , press 2 for....... Glad I used a land line and not my cell phone #. I have the # listed in my contacts as "SCAMMERS". DO NOT ANSWER!!!!!!
