Ditto to all of the above, except that I must also add that the calls came in on my home telephone number (a Verizon landline) and then one minute later, the same number called my Verizon Wireless cell number. It is of concern to me because it is too coincidental that my landline and then my cell are reached one after the other. It appears this scammer has a list available re individuals and all of their specific contact information. I am so careful not to share my information, but I cannot prevent friends/family from allowing gmail, etc., to have access to their contacts when they access their e-mails via their cell phones. Since I am so, so careful when sharing my information, I am trying to figure out the very few exception where my contact information can be stolen.
If you get a call from this number, DO, ignore. It is not legitimate and they are trying to take advantage of elderly and less educated people. Please pay it forward and help to protect innocent people.
