Who is using this number?

Man called asking for donation to some veteran's organization and wanted to send out envelope to collect money. I was "transferred" to some lady who then asked for my credit card information. No way is this a legit... total scam! They also sounded too rehearsed and overly excited that I did not hang up on them at first. Beware!

Man asked for donation to some veterans organization.  I was transferred to a lady who wanted to verify my info and asked for a credit card.

I was called many times.  Sometimes, during the day, my wife was home and did not answer the phone.  The number appears on my TV ,

Picked up the call.  No one there.  Disconnected after 5 seconds.  Number now blocked due to other reports.
