Foundation for American Veterans (FAV). Many organizations have questioned this "charity" for its ineffective use of donations and its deliberate lack of transparency. There are many good veteran support charities, but this does not appear to be one of them. Block these guys out and stay away.
Claim to be the Foundation for American Veterans. If they are calling your repeatedly (like they were me) call the number back (201-285-8072) and choose option #2, wait for further instructions, then enter your phone number to be removed from their call list. They claim it takes 3 days to be removed. Just did this...so I guess I'll still get their annoying phone calls for the next THREE days.! ugh...
