Called asking for the old CEO who left over 10 years ago. He was "surprised" to hear that. Then asked for the new CEO. I asked what the call was about and he just told me he used to do business with the old CEO and he wanted to chat with the new one. There is no way I would transfer with that information so I sent him to a voicemail. He hung up before the call completed.
This number called my place of business and asked to speak to my boss. I told him my boss was not available and he got angry and stated he was about to get on a plane and to put him on the phone right now and then told me to shut my mouth when I stated he was not available again. This is a land line so he was not about to get on a plane and he said he was with tucker industries. which we have never done business with.
This number also called my place of business and asked for the boss, by name. However, when I answered the call, there was no one on the line at first- it began to ring as if I was calling out. Then said man answered and asked for the boss. When I sated that he was unavailable he got angry and said "who doesn't say anything when they answer the phone" then hung up.
This gentleman called and asked for the president of our company by name. When I said he wasn't and asked if I could take a message, he said, "Yeah, just tell him Terry from TNA(?) called." While I was in the process of verifying the information he gave me, he hung up on me. And this is why I lie and say my president is not available.
Just got a call from "Justin" from this number. He wanted to speak to my boss, asked for him by name. When I told him my boss wasn't here (lie, he was standing right behind me), he got pissed and said "Tell him Justin from *garbled* called" and hung up.
