This company scams. They call and claim you owe money on something, try to collect the money. If they collect anything, then they go to the place where the bill is 'owed" and try to sell their services or keep a percentage.
My daughter was bitten by a rabid cat and had to get a series of expensive shots through the State of Texas Health Dept. Of the $4,000, we only owe $600 and make regular payments according to our contract with the state. This company pulled medical admissions and state records to get our number snd started pretending to be collectors for the state. When we call the state, we are told we are up to date, that have another 15 months to pay this, and we don;t have to make payments, only pay it off before 15 months.
The State of Texas and the State Health dept. made it clear they do not have any contract with this company.
Then we started getting the same phone calls at our unlisted numbers about a bogus highway toll. In Texas, the camaras track your plates and send monthly toll bills to your home address. Our phone numbers are not attached to our motor vehicle records and are unlisted. The bill is for $3.50 but the collection fee is $20.00. Suspicious, I called the state highway Dept and they have no contract with these people and never use collection agencies. They can collect when plates and stickers are renewed.
When I filed a complaint witht he state attorney's office, it became clear that this company id difficult to track since they have incorporated their company in every state. Even while commiting fraud across state lines (calling from New Jersey, the state is unable to track them down.
