Recieved the same call. I called discover card and asked for their fraud department to see if they could get this guy to quit using their name. They weren't interested. They said since I am not a customer or account holder with Discover card, they don't care what the guy does. Interesting response.

Someone named Johnny Bae called and asked for me. My husband answered and said I would be home in an hour. An hour later, the phone rang and I saw on Caller ID that it was Johnny Bae -- a name I wasn't familiar with, so I let it ring to see if he'd leave a message. No message. I decided to check the number on Google, and found it was a number in NJ. Then I googled "Johnny Bae" and found all these comments. Guess I'll just keep on ignoring any calls that come in from him. Thank you all for your notes.
My guess is he is a ruthless collector or attorney firm who works as a collection agency. Please will the dumb [***] in government protect us from these scum! Debt collectors are predators.
