I got a call on our home phone in australia from a private number.
I wondered how they knew his name and number, since we have a private number and rarely get marketing calls.
these fellows call my number all the time. They are shameless. I these them and ask the how is the weather in India, because they have such a heavy accent definetly Indian.
Did you get the call from 201-311-4546? If so, get ready for 6-8 calls per day. We all need to band together to stop India from doing this. These people have no shame.
I sent Amazon a scalding e-mail...they claim to not sell any personal information, but can't make any guarantees on orders placed through them and fulfilled by third party merchants. For those who've done business with Amazon before getting these calls...have any of your orders been fulfilled by third party merchants? To check, go into your account, click "Your Orders". You'll see a list of your past orders, and a "Sold By:" under each item. Are there any that aren't Amazon? I wonder if we share one in common. On another note - I've started to have fun with the callers before blocking them completely. When the last guy called and tried to sell me viagra, I asked him how much I could buy and if it would be enough to satisfy his mom. He told me I had no manners, and he did not want to talk to me. He hung up after I pointed out that he was the one who called me.
They called me up again, this morning it's 7am. I tell this [***] I'm not interested and he says WHY? I say I'm 24 years old and my dick works fine. he says WHY again. I say I don't want to receive any more calls and he says WHY again, yelling at me. I have to hang up on him because he seems to think he's going to get somewhere listening to my cursing and swearing and arguing with me. If I hear another person yell WHY in an indian accent I'm going to have a [***] spaz attack. My Cell phone company will not block the number, only suggested I get on the do not call list. These sand chugs are not regular telemarketers. Do not call lists do not apply. If you are unlucky enough to be called by them, you are in for an incessant disruption that seems it cannot be stopped. These pieces of [***] are the rats of the earth like another post proclaims. FML.
