I got this phone call twice. First time was a Kevin with an Indian accent. Then it was a John with an Indian accent. He was looking for my supervisor as well. Soliciting something he was selling
Man with an Indian accent requested a manager who is not at this location. I inquired regarding the purpose of his call, and he claimed to have just spoken with his intended target. I replied, "Then you would know that he's not here," and hung up when he started protesting. He returned 15 minutes later, looking for another off-site manager in order to sell him something. (The background noise on his end made him even more difficult to understand.) I said that was considered a solicitation and transferred him to Purchasing.
Just had a call from "Jake" from this #. He said he was with the company "VOIP" and wanted to sell VOIP solutions. I asked him if this was a telemarketing call, then I was put on mute. Took down the # and called it back. received a busy signal. apparently he has called our location 3 times so far, I really hope I get him again :D.
I received a call from this number too. Indian gentleman that I could hardly understand. He asked for the off site manger as well. I told him I was good and didn't need his services.
