The number called then hung up before I could answer. I called back and it was a recording from something garbled, it sounded like "Very Import Tubs" then said to leave a message if I wanted to hear back from them or push 9 to remove myself from their calling list.
I have had 3 differnt #'s call my cell and also an unknown #. All repeatly and over then span of acouple weeks. Finally picked up a call and same thing. Gas card if I paid $2 shipping. Scam.

They just called and said they were a Visa services company and inquired about my credit card (Which he had the last 4 numbers of) and wanted me to verify an address. He said he was going to send me a packet with 300 dollars of gas cards, and roadside assistance and other coupons or wherever that I already spend money. He said they would just charge like a $3.95 for the shipping to send it to me. I told him no and he kept pushing it and pushing it, and I told him no and just hung up while he still tried to keep talking.
Something about preferred customers are getting this or whatever. I called back too and got some old lady that sounded like hick trailor trash telling me to leave a name and number then press 9 to get off the mailing list.
He actually had my address of where I used to live and was connected to that card so I just said "yeah, that's it" even though I don't live there anymore... Just don't give them any information!!!!
Allison- Wow, Your card last four numbers And your old address, that's realy grim. I thought Our credit card companies aren't suppost to give out any of our card info. Did you have to change your credit card number? Or is it an old card number? The last four numbers is all they got to know In order to know the other twelve numbers in front of the last four. So last four is not secure. First four is. and panel code on the back of the card is.
I get rid of the credit card "reward" callers by telling them that I don't have a credit card ending in those digits. This really confuses their little brains.
