The number called then hung up before I could answer. I called back and it was a recording from something garbled, it sounded like "Very Import Tubs" then said to leave a message if I wanted to hear back from them or push 9 to remove myself from their calling list.
I just two calls from them today, with an Unknown I.D. I sometimes get these from people I know, so I called back and got a voicemail with an old lady with a southern accent asking me to leave a message. I didn't, of course.
So, now I read all these entries about this number. How does one block it from calling a cell? I hate getting unsolicited calls on my cell. That's what my home number is for.
Same as above. This # calls me constantly without leaving a voicemail. I tried calling back but only hear an automated answering service. I'm beyond annoyed. If anyone gets to bottom of this let us all know!
had several missed calls, called back pressed one to be removed from list. someone called back and asked to speak with me. I asked who was calling, they again asked to speak with me and I said speaking and then he hung up. VMArk could be short for Visa Marketing. I had recieved several calls like the ones listed above from several different numbers. I think the number belongs to a small group of people who make solisatation calls for other companies. When the verify your card number and address it is based on the info provided at a time of a purchase. The merchant you made a purchase from is selling your info to solisitors. Usually online companies selling promotional merchandise or magizines and the such. Which is barely legal. It is basically selling customer lists. It is not your credit card company, but a store you bought something with. This happened to me several times. I report the card lost and get a new one. Oh yeah you address is based on the time the list was made/sold. Which could make it months to years old. They try to sell youi a membership package to discount coupons. still a bit off and I sure wouldn't subscribe.
