This number called my cellphone & left a voicemail about my 'vehicle warranty that is about to expire'. Considering my vehicle is a 2000 model with 97,000 miles on it, I'm pretty sure my warranty is long gone!! When I googled the number, it came up as belonging to a Luis Santiago in Palisades Park, NJ. I've had the expiring warranty call before, but this is a new number for it.
I just got a call from this number too...on my cell phone..no one has my cell #..anyway..i pressed 1 and talked to an actual person...asked about the mileage on my car...i told them my hubby had the car out...he said he needs the mileage...gave me an 888 number to call...yea..whatever...anyway..thanks for the posts here.. now i know not to call back! :)
just got a call as well - eastern european/russian accent; doens't make me feel any better since my warranty just expired on the car - anyone talk to a dealer recently about a warrenty?? just wondering how I got to be one of the lucky ones
Car warranty "expired", which seems unlikely news since factory warranty expired on my vehicle years ago. I strongly suspect this is the same organization that has called me from other numbers, I think including 928-819-9988 and 251-824-1114. Could be that it's merely the same scam, but I've gotten several of these calls over the past 2 or 3 weeks and never any before, and usually I only get junk calls on my cellphone a few times a year.
