It shows up on the caller ID as "Fax Global".

Same.  Multiple calls from 201 353-3618 "Fax Global".   Picked up once, nobody there, then the remote end hangs up.  Very annoying.  Called number back, got "beep-beep 791.  The number you dialed is not in service."

Me too - get a call at least once a night.  Picked up and remote hangs up.

A 201-353-3618 caller, shows on our caller ID as "Fax Global," has rung us at home (Northern Virginia) each evening daily for weeks.  We pick up, nothing on the other end, nada.  Verizon does not "offer the service" of allowing us to block an obnoxious caller such as this.  Big disappointment Verizon Company.  If you can't let us do it ourselves then get a bill passed or something, but do SOMETHING.
