I am going to drop my landline. One way to avoid this sort of disrupted phone call is unlisted your phone number right from the start or drop it all together. Rules of National No call list only apply to legitimate organizations, not to scammers.
Scam calls seem to stop for a while and now come back in full force again. I will just let them call all they want and leave message on answer machine.
