I got a call this morning around 11 AM. I was still asleep at this point, but when I saw the missed call I got excited. I thought it was a person calling me about one of the few applications I'd submitted a few days ago. Nah, it wasnt -- obviously. It was an Indian sounding man who was offering me a 100$ gift card somewhere and claimed to be from 'Care Express'. I didnt trust it so I googled the name, while on the phone. I read that it was a scam, so I hung up.
Weird thing happened to me with this number calling... but it may just have been a glitch in my phone? I dont know, it freaked me out a bit, that's for sure.
Was on the phone with my fiance and this number called through my call waiting or whatever. I took the call and said hello, but when I did, my fiance answered as if I had never left the call... I then looked at the phone to see if I had lost the call but found that out said I wad connected to this phone number and my fiance wad on the other line. I promptly hung up and called her back... would be a weird way to get personal information wouldn't it? To somehow tap into a conversation of someone who answers and thinks they missed the call? It would require them to hit a line that is in use... but wouldn't that explain the"ring twice and hang up"? To see if you hear that extra beep signifying the person is on the other line? Is it possible you think? Or just a glitch in my phone?
