They are international but using a software program that masks as a US area.

this number called my cell.  called the number back from work b/c my desk # doesnt show for outbound calls.  it was a recording but with static.  almost like a cell call with bad service that keeps breaking up.  couldnt make out anything it was saying.

Same as most of you, rang & they hung up & no message. Called at 5:06 pm todayI don't answer unprogrammed #'s in my phone & am also on Do Not Call list. Don't have a bill collector or anyone like that calling, not know anyone in NJ.

If you don't know who it is or what it is about,  how in the world is the DNC Registry supposed to know about it.
