This obviously Indian sweatshop operation has called twice telling me something is wrong with my computer. The first time I listened and acted as if I was following their very specific directions in a very non specific manner. When they told me to press the Windows menu key and "r" key, I kept saying nothing happened, now mind you, my PC is nowhere near me, that I pressed and released the menu key then pressed the r key. This confused the poor fool at the other end of the line, who then said to push the menu key and the r key and then my finger from the keys. When I did that, I started thanking him, as my grandfather had always did the joke with me, but now it worked! I pulled my finger and I farted! Flustered, he hung up.
Now today they called, and again the sound of a illegal sweatshop greeted me, so I knew what the call was about. This time I let the operator instruct me what to do, and I start telling him that the registry window has opened. After he tries to correct me, and I keep telling him the same thing, another guy takes the call over. He instructs me to do the same steps, but this time I tell him the remote access window opens. Oh, and I'm sounding really frantic, so this has them listening intently. Anyway, he keeps telling me what I should be doing, and I keep yelling that nothing's happening. Then I hit them hard! I ask if downloading Asian porn could've done this. I repeated it when the stopped and said "huh?" And after the third time telling him I gave my CC number, and my wife was going to kill me, someone pulled the plug.
Probably won't be hearing from them again.
I keep getting calls from this 'company' claiming to be with Microsoft and needing to do urgent updates to my computer. Obviously an Indian national with marginal English language skills, calling from a room with what sounds like thousands of additional calls in the background. I now just interrupt them, say I will never purchase anything from them, and hang up.
Had a guy call today saying that my computer wasn't allowing the correct updates to happen. I asked him what kind of computer/windows I was using and he was unable to answer. I asked him to please give me his phone number so I could call him back "when I got home". After giving me a number, I asked him why he was calling me from a 201 area code and the phone number he gave me is a 901 area code. He tried to backpedal and say that it was a 201 number and I had heard him incorrectly, but it was a completely different phone number. He hung up on me.

Received a call, not recognized number. Called it back, British accent female voice in greeting message instructed "welcome to your conference," and instructed me to enter "your passcode followed by the pass key," then saying once in the conference I could enter other numbers in a menu I would receive.
