This company ignores the government Do-Not-Call List, and robocalls numbers claiming that your "Google business listing has expired" When you press "1" you get music on hold and someone answers saying that they want to update your Google listing. They said they are not affiliated with Google. Of course they have no way to know about you having or not having a Google business listing. Who knows what kind of scam they are running, but I think they need to be investigated for possible fraudulent activities. When I called, the woman said they would close the file for me.
Oh btw, this is not the first time they called me, they called a few times before, but this time I called back and waited for an operator. I wonder what they would have said if I played along, how much would they charge. Sounds like a ripoff. At least they do say they are not associated with Google when you ask them. But it's wrong to call people and tell them their Google business listing has expired. It's like one of those companies that sends people who own domain names notices that they need to renew their domain and charge and arm and a leg.
