Someone just texted me to send me a cashiers check for something i listed on CL.

same thing happened here. This person sent a text wishing to buy an item listed on cl and claims to be sending a money order. Another scam

Yes same thing c.list ad...yes will pay you extra to hold item...later...my secratery. Made a error will send instructions as how to send diffearance........yup...scam loss your item..liable for bogus check.

Rec'd a text from 201-375-3487.  Same story different day.  This number is located in New Jersey and contacted us about a commonly available item listed on Craigslist in Southern California.  Used language similar to that used by a Craigslist Scammer.
