A check for 4000 too much came from Association of Lion's Club

And the overage was requested to be send ot another address in Idaho!

I did not get a call, but I got an email to rent my lake house for the month of Sept and wanted to know the cost. Every request to speak to him on the phone was ignored. I finally sent him an email and insisted on speaking to him directly; informing him that I will not rent to anyone unless I speak to them personally. Needless to say, that was the last I heard from him. By the way, this number was always router to an international IP number.  His email address is [email protected]  Felt like a scam to me!

Same guy, same email text, same scam. Wants my rental house in GA for Thanksgiving week. This time he is using the name Monte Ford, email address is [email protected]. I have been playing him along and now have a shipping address for his "refund" check - 3360 Gypsy Lane, Mt Morris, NY 14501. That just happens to be the address of the Office of Homeland Security in Mt Morris. I have contacted law enforcement and FBI, but no one seems interested in following up since I haven't actually lost any money. I have also notified HomeAway and VRBO.

LOL.  If any law enforcement wants all my info & check. let me know.  Im going to really screw with him now.  Tell him that the western union bldg caught on fire yesterday, and that i mailed him a certified check by mail.  lets see how long he waits for it.

just recv'd Thomas Bode's JP Morgan Chase Bank Check for over $1000. to reserve our camp...what happens if i deposit it. This appears legit & if it bounces back won't the bank realise it's a scam & waive return ck fees ? I wish i could jam Mr Bode up good & what about JP Morgan bank ....why don't they persue this scumbag for using bogus cks with their name on top ? Who knows maybe he'll actually show up in person for a relaxing vacation here to relieve all the stress involved with the SCAM game....maybe i'll even take him 'hunting' out back !
