I have signed up many times on the No-Call List, but unfortnately has long has people buy items
on line, solictiors will contiue calling. I just wish they would have the decency to leave a message,
in case sombody is interested in doing business with these so called businesses.
It does not seem to matter that "Do not call lists" are made both national and statewide. We are on these lists but to no avail. We still get calls from so many numbers and are greeted by machines if we do happen to answer. It is hard to ignore the ringing phone (away from the caller ID) when we have family living far away and we never know if they are trying to reach us. With so many cell phones it is hard to tell where the call is coming from because someone may have a California area code and multiple numbers, and live in or do business in Tennessee or Georgia. If you go on the computer to check out the number it costs to get the information because nothing is free. If you block 6547 on your phone they will just switch and call from 6548. This is so disgusting and time consuming.
