It's the end of July and well folks, this appears to still be going on. All the embedded online hooks are still floating out there... tempting people looking for work into giving up their credit card numbers. What in the hell is going on in North America that, with the patriot act et all... our governments (Canadian and U.S.) cannot put a stop to this crap? I mean, after doing extensive research, this google scamming is spreading like wildfire. What it people were using the spoofing technology to make threatening calls? Would our governments then take notice? Cause at this point... I can't believe this is still going on. Something must be done!
I keep getting these calls. It's a recording saying "press 1 for a customer service rep, press 2 to be placed on the do not call list, press 3 to hang up" I've pressed all and keep getting the same recording. It's using up my minutes!!! Grrrrr...
I've been getting these calls as well. Every hour or so over the last 3 days. This evening I called the number back and received the same as previously stated. After pressing the 2 last few days I tried for the 1 customer service. Just routed round and round. Finally hung up. I just received a call back from the number and ask a few questions. Caller said their name was Jelly Rose and that the company was Boogle ARM Co., rough english but I think that's what she said. When I ask where they were located she said the calls route from NJ. I informed her that I would be reporting this occurance as I am on the do not call list and this is a call phone number wasting my time and money and will be reporting this unwelcome activity.
