Just installed Caller ID phone & service and answering machine. They were my first callers at 3:50 PM PDT, SO THE EQUIPMENT WORKS! I haven't recorded a personal message yet, and their response was just dead air.
This number is on my caller ID everyday, at least twice a day. Finally today I answered hoping I can get them to stop calling. The girl asked for the owner and I said it was me. She went about her blah, blah, blah - merchant services, etc. I said I was happy with my situation and then she said I'm under no obligation, etc. I corrected her by telling her that meeting with someone is an obligation and I'm not going to do it. She tried another approach and I stopped her and said "I'm simply not interested". She thanked me and hung up. She was actually very polite so I couldn't bring myself to be ugly to her.
201-499-7002 calls several times a day, everyday. Never says anything. This morning 9:44 am caller ID said Unknown caller,call from the 2014997002 and a man started talking to tell me he was from Nova Credit Card Services calling to lower my rates and give me a $500
Visa card for making the switch and would buy out my present fees if any with co I do business with. He gave me the address & phone # of my
business. I explained I had no use for the services and did not need credit card services. This is a scam phishing co. trying to get into your
bank account and obtain your personal information such as your full name, home address and ssi. They use several different #'s to call from.
and usually hang up to see when is the best time someone will answer.
