Just installed Caller ID phone & service and answering machine. They were my first callers at 3:50 PM PDT, SO THE EQUIPMENT WORKS! I haven't recorded a personal message yet, and their response was just dead air.
Got a call from 360-565-5147. Same pick up the phone, if you dare. Buy a house, apply for any credit.
All kinds of public records out there. Great idea today, on home phone or mobile. My home phone talks to me.
So I entered all the "SCAM" numbers I have. In the phone contacts, and for person I entered
"SCAM". Now when a known bad number calls, my phone says "SCAM!!!!". Should work for mobile as well.
When you look to see who's calling. It will say "SCAM" hit the red button. IE hang up button - call ended.
Call to business line, appearently a live operator. I said hello, and a female started to say something and the line disconnected. I want to talk to them so I can 1) keep them from talking to someone else for a while, and 2) extract as much information as I can from them. If you do this and report the extra information to the FCC, it will help with their investigation.
Ha! Already had them blocked in my system. Received eight (8!!!) calls from them today, attempting to get through. When blocked calls hit my auto-blocker I get an email telling me how many attempts. I saw that they called eight times in a row (and got a phony outgoing disconnected number recording) and I sat back and laughed myself giddy.
...and it didn't interrupt my business office, either.
