A scammer posing as an auto warranty salesperson. He somehow knew my work number. He also knew my name and car model, but upon getting to the "do you want to update your warranty part with us?", I cooly told him that I'll update it at the dealership. :) As he was explaining the obvious that yes, I'll be speaking to actual REAL people in a dealership instead of to some complete stranger like this guy on the phone, he pressed the "hang up" button while talking. Priceless.
I should keep practicing with my screwing with these people. Hope they scratch all my numbers off their stupid lists. I know this number should not call back again if he (and any of his scamming cohorts) have a brain.
I answered the call said they were from "Dealer Services" in regards to a 2012 Crystler. I said you have the wrong number and hung up on him. Why won't the FCC do anything about this!!
Called asking about an Acura and if I was still driving it. Said they had wrong number and hung up. Never have or will drive an Acura. Leave me feeling uneasy as I just purchased a new car.
